Last of 2015 Foodie Moment

Hi all,

Sorry I’ve been so absent these last few months. It has been a tough transition from full-time student, part-time worker to full-time worker, part-time student, part-time studying for the LSAT.

I just wanted to share with you some of the food adventures I’ve been on in the last couple of weeks since my dearest friend who shares a love of really good (and expensive) food is back home for the holidays! Yippee!

First, we hit up Birch in Hollywood. Couldn’t resist attempting to take pictures even though it was the usual dark restaurant. The food was yummy, but the best part was, they had RADLER (dubbed “shandy” for the Brits)! Authentic pilsner mixed with Sprite. That’s right, the thing Europeans call “lemonade” is our Sprite and very few places will actually mix beer with Sprite here. I was so ecstatic that I didn’t take a picture of it, cause, well it’s just beer.

We recently had an extravagant evening on the Malibu Pier. Yes, even in late December, Californians will flock to the beach and water. I got my daily dose of sunshine, beer and cheese at both the Malibu Farm Restaurant and Cafe (same owners, slightly different menus).

Next up for 2016 will be AOC on the January 2nd. Very excited to check that one off my list soon enough and start the year off with a little bit of gluttony.
